Safari Club International’s PAC Announces 2024 Political Endorsements

Washington, D.C. — Safari Club International’s Political Action Committee (SCI-PAC) proudly announces its endorsements for the 2024 election. SCI-PAC, the largest sportsmen-led PAC in America, has endorsed select candidates running for President, Senate, and the House of Representatives who have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to sustainable-use hunting and fishing, responsible wildlife management, and conservation efforts.

As the Biden-Harris administration threatens Americans’ ability to hunt and fish with ongoing bureaucratic overreach, these candidates have consistently supported policies that protect Americans’ rights to hunt and fish, conserve wildlife habitats, and ensure that future generations may continue to enjoy hunting and fishing.

“SCI-PAC is an instrumental component of SCI’s advocacy powerhouse, and I’m proud that this election cycle it can support these candidates who align with our mission of protecting the rights of hunters and anglers,” said SCI CEO W. Laird Hamberlin. “Their commitment to responsible wildlife management is critical in the face of the constant threats to our access and opportunities.”

“These endorsements reflect our belief that the future of hunting, fishing, and conservation depends on electing leaders who have pushed back against the Biden-Harris administration’s relentless assault on these freedoms,” said SCI Executive Vice President of International Government and Public Affairs Ben Cassidy. “The candidates supported by SCI-PAC understand that sustainable use is key to preserving wildlife for generations to come. We encourage every American sportsman and woman to exercise their right to vote on or by November 5th.”

“Now, more than ever, we must stand behind those individuals who understand the importance of sustainable-use hunting and fishing practices,” said SCI President John McLaurin. “These candidates are dedicated to preserving our outdoor heritage, and their efforts will ensure that American sportsmen and women continue to have access to these time-honored traditions.”
