Last week, Safari Club International Foundation (SCIF) participated in SCI’s annual Convention in Nashville, Tennessee, celebrating hunting and conservation. As a leader in wildlife conservation, SCIF’s presence at SCI Convention marked significant achievements in advancing our mission.

The event commenced with the 10th Annual Beretta and SCI Foundation Conservation Leadership Award Gala, which highlighted a strong commitment to wildlife conservation. This sold-out event gathered dedicated supporters of the SCI Foundation, who raised essential funds for initiatives in wildlife conservation, education, and hunting. A key moment of the evening was the presentation of the esteemed Conservation Leadership Award to Dr. Gerald L. Warnock, recognized for his exceptional contributions to conservation. Special thanks to J. Alain Smith for his unwavering dedication and extensive preparations. SCI Foundation extends heartfelt appreciation to all attendees for their invaluable support, reinforcing our commitment to being ‘First for Wildlife.’
Sables Luncheon
The Sables Luncheon was a vibrant gathering that brought together passionate individuals dedicated to education, conservation, and hunting, all while celebrating with a spirited “Welcome to the Jungle.” Attendees enjoyed a full house, lively music that kept the dance floor crowded, and a silent auction that was hailed as the best ever. The enthusiasm was palpable, with many expressing that “Sables knocked it out of the park this year.” Overall, the event was a fun and impactful experience, reinforcing the community’s commitment to conservation and education. In fact, tables for next year’s luncheon are already selling out, highlighting the success and excitement surrounding this annual event.
