Edgar Sherman Design – Eclipse
I ran across the Eclipse from Edgar Sherman Design last week during a visit to Fort Bragg. He pulled it down and from where it was hanging and I immediately knew what it was intended for.
Drone operators and SOT-A members use tablets and laptops that emit a lot of light which could lead to disaster in a patrol base or other clandestine hide. The Eclipse contains that light pollution.
The Eclipse is made from two layers of Cordura with MultiCam on the outside and Black on the interior. Incorporating an adjustable head harness, nose clip, and two hand access points, no light will escape. In addition to an access point at the bottom to emplace the laptop or tablet, there are reinforcements along to body to keep the material from bunching and blocking the operator’s view.
The Eclipse is available for special order. Production is currently military so they are primarily offering these to the military customer. Give them a shout to get yours.
