November 25, 2025 – FALCO® Holsters has extended assistance to a customer Brett G. following a severe vehicle fire caused by a gasoline explosion. Despite the incident destroying the customer’s truck and leading to an extended hospitalization, the handgun carried inside the vehicle remained remarkably intact — protected by its FALCO® holster (https://www.falcoholsters.com)
In the aftermath of the explosion, Brett spent 65 days in the hospital while others examined his burned vehicle. He was later informed that, despite the truck being completely destroyed, his Stoeger STR-9 and Olight BALDR S light had survived. The FALCO® holster A122 had shielded the front of the slide and the light, preserving the firearm through the fire.
“I was very impressed when I heard that the pistol in the pickup that burnt up was salvageable,” Brett shared. “It shoots fine, the light was reusable — just needed the grip cleaned and a new mag.”
To help offset part of the hardship he experienced, FALCO® Holsters provided Brett with a replacement holster of choice at no cost.
