Reno, NV — Mesa Tactical, designer and manufacturer of high-quality tactical accessories and equipment for law enforcement, military and civilian shooters, has introduced an extended version of its popular aluminum Truckee forend for the Beretta 1301 shotguns, originally announced in 2023. The new forend is 15¾ inches long, nearly three inches longer than the standard 13 inch version.
Truckee forends are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and are equipped with M-LOK® slots on the sides and bottom, providing versatile options for accessory attachment. A longer forend provides more real estate for accessories and the shooter’s support hand, and allows allows lights, for example, to be mounted closer to the muzzle to reduce shadows.
The Truckee line of M-LOK compatible aluminum forends continues to expand, and are already available for Benelli M2, Benelli M4, Beretta 1301, Mossberg 930, Mossberg 940, Remington 870, Remington Tac-14, Remington V3 and Remington Tac-13 shotguns. Truckee forends feature a hard anodized flat finish for added durability and protection.
“The 13 inch long Truckee forend was designed to be installed on any Beretta 1301 shotgun,” said Mitch Barrie, President of Mesa Tactical. “But we realized that Beretta 1301 shotguns with full length or extended magazines could accept an even longer forend. Because longer is always better, we decided to make a 15¾ inch version for those customers for whom 13 inches is just not enough.”
Like all Mesa Tactical products, the Truckee forend is 100% made in the U.S.A., available in black, and has a limited lifetime warranty. All Mesa Tactical products can be easily installed without requiring modification of the firearm or special gunsmithing skills. More about it find at www.mesatactical.com
