Branded as Premium Die Sets, these offerings include a carbide expander button as well as precision micrometers.
At Redding, we listen to our customers who continue to demand improved accuracy, performance, ease of handloading and increased flexibility in their reloading bench. The addition of a carbide expander button to the sizing die makes inside neck sizing smoother and easier, without lubrication. The button also free floats on the decapping rod allowing for self-centering in the case neck and hence improved overall concentricity.
The micrometer equipped standard seating stem (also sold separately with VLD seating stem) allows for precise bullet seating depth to 1/0.001” (also available with Metric scale micrometers on some models). Offering handloaders around the world the convenience of fast and accurate changes in bullet seating depth in their measuring scale of preference. Thus, making it easier than ever to fine-tune your favorite loads or take the guess work out of loading multiple bullet types with the same seating die.
The two die Premium Set is offered with a full length sizing die with carbide button and a micrometer equipped seating die. The Redding Premium Deluxe Set adds a neck die to the two die set for those handloaders who require the flexibility to neck size only. Redding continues to provide the needed capability to produce high quality loadings for all requirements in preparation for a competition or trip to the field.
