Designed in collaboration with Team SIG Captain and 7-time World Speed Shooting Champion, Max Michel, the next generation of SIG SAUER’S competition-ready pistol reflex sight is here. The ROMEO3MAX™ PRO is the embodiment of a lifetime of repetition and experience in the competitive environment, refined over tens of thousands of rounds to deliver the most dominant optic to date.
Transitioning to the standardized PRO (DeltaPoint™ Pro) footprint, the ROMEO3MAX PRO will mount directly to your favorite optics-ready pistol while maintaining an ultra-low deck height to optimize height over bore axis. SIG’s industry-leading aspherical glass lens system provides a generous sight window with unrivaled clarity to expedite target acquisition and eliminate distortion.
Available in either a 3 or 8 MOA red dot with 15 total illumination intervals, the ROMEO3MAX PRO gives you the ability to fine tune brightness settings for any environment. Featuring an IPX-7 waterproof rating and 20,000-hour runtime, the ROMEO3MAX PRO is backed by SIG SAUER’S Infinite Guarantee.
- Common DeltaPoint PRO mounting footprint for ultimate compatibility across the industry.
- 31mm glass aspheric lens with red notch reflector coating for excellent light transmittance, reticle brightness, and zero distortion.
- Crisp red dot reticle available in various sizes, with 15 brightness settings for rapid target engagement under a full range of lighting conditions.
- MOTAC™ (Motion Activated Illumination System) powers up when it senses motion and powers down when it does not.
- MAGNETAC (Magnetic Activation) turns the optic off when using the included Rubber Sight Cover, for preserving battery life even more between match stages or when storing/transporting the optic.
- Low-profile aircraft-grade CNC Aluminum housing ensures a lifetime of reliable service, and allows a co-witness with suppressor-height backup iron sights.
- Dependable waterproof (IPX-7 rated for complete water immersion up to 1 meter) and fogproof performance.
- 20,000 hour runtime from a common CR1632 battery (at medium brightness settings), in a side mounted tray, meaning there is no need to remove the optic to change the battery.
- SIG SAUER Electro-Optics Infinite Guarantee
What’s the difference between the original ROMEO3MAX and the new ROMEO3MAX PRO?
Key Enhancements of the ROMEO3MAX PRO:
Popular Mounting Footprint
The ROMEO3MAX PRO features the industry-standard DeltaPoint™ Pro footprint, which allows for direct mounting. Unlike the ROMEO3MAX which required an adapter, this direct mount lowers the deck height, optimizing the height over the bore axis. Users can now co-witness with suppressor height sights.
Enhanced Visibility and Precision
The new model offers three additional brightness settings, giving users greater control in various lighting conditions. It also upgrades to an 8MOA dot from the previous 6MOA, making it more suitable for users with astigmatism by allowing them to run the dot at lower brightness and minimize reticle distortion.
User-Friendly Adjustments
Adjustments for windage and elevation are now made easier with slotted screws, eliminating the hassle of a tiny Allen wrench. The redesigned brightness buttons align with industry standards, placing the UP button at the front and the DOWN at the back for intuitive use.
Improved Design and Functionality
The ROMEO3MAX PRO boasts a slightly larger lens for a better field of view and includes the innovative MAGNETAC rubber optic cover. This cover not only protects the lens but also when the cover is in place it automatically turns off the reticle, helping competitors conserve battery life between stages.
