Silencer Shop’s Matheny Fortifies NSSF’s Protect Liberty Political Action Committee Ahead of 2024 Election with ,000 Contribution

WASHINGTON, D.C. – NSSF’s Protect Liberty Political Action Committee (Protect Liberty PAC) announced it has received yet another significant boost after Silencer Shop’s Founder and CEO Dave Matheny gave a $25,000 contribution. Matheny’s donation will be used to support the election of candidates who are dedicated to preserving and protecting liberty, freedom and the constitutional rights of all Americans, especially Second Amendment rights which are under constant attack by the Biden-Harris administration.

Mr. Matheny’s generous personal contribution of $25,000 compliments several recent financial contributions to the growing super PAC as momentum builds ahead of election day in just over three months. These donations will boost Protect Liberty PAC’s efforts to support candidates who will fight to protect our Constitutional rights – especially the Second Amendment – and put a stop to the far left’s “woke” political agenda that threatens our liberties.

“It’s go-time for Americans who value their Constitutional rights, especially their rights to lawfully purchase and possess firearms, to join the fight with the firearm industry to backstop against a potential Harris administration. During her 2019 presidential primary, Vice President Kamala Harris ran to the left of President Biden on gun control and has since supported his activist gun control agenda every step of the way. Election Day 2024 is now just three months away and Dave Matheny’s generous contribution shows he is standing up with the firearm industry to fight back,” said Lawrence G. Keane, Protect Liberty PAC’s Treasurer. “As momentum continues to build with Protect Liberty PAC, we are extremely thankful for Mr. Matheny’s leadership and are hopeful more businesses in the firearm, ammunition, hunting, recreational and shooting sports industry and concerned gun owners will stand with Dave and many others who have contributed so far in supporting Protect Liberty PAC.”

“This is not the time to stand idly by to wait and see what happens in November – this is a time for action. It is critical that the firearm industry has the resources needed to block the Biden administration from doing any more damage in the next six months and to defeat Vice President Harris at the ballot box to ensure our livelihoods are protected and the Constitutional rights we cherish are safeguarded,” said Silencer Shop’s Dave Matheny. “It is chilling to think about what the future could hold if we don’t do everything we can to push back against the continued infringement on our rights that we see every day from this administration and those in elected office who would do away with the right to keep and bear arms in the blink of an eye. Silencer Shop is proud to stand with NSSF, Protect Liberty PAC, and all our industry colleagues who are joining together in this worthy effort. Our Second Amendment rights and Constitutional liberties must be protected against “woke” progressive and anti-gun activists now more than ever and I encourage all my firearm industry colleagues to contribute to Protect Liberty PAC as well.”

Protect Liberty PAC is a federally registered “super PAC” founded in 2023 by NSSF.  Protect Liberty PAC is an independent-expenditure only political committee and can accept unlimited personal and corporate contributions from companies in or outside of the industry, so long as they do not have federal contracts.
