FLORENCE, Texas – Staccato, the creators of the Staccato 2011® pistol, is proud to announce that the Staccato HD P4 will now be available for purchase in California.
The California Department of Justice maintains a roster of Handguns Certified for Sale. In order to be certified, pistols must be submitted to specialized testing facilities where they are subjected to specific firing, safety, and drop protocols. Pistols must also include certain features. Per CADOJ requirements, the California-compliant P4 is equipped with a loaded chamber indicator and modified magazine catch which is not reversible. The California model will also come with a DLC barrel and Trijicon front sight. All other features remain standard as found on other HD models, including our buffered flat wire recoil system, HOST optic mount, active firing pin block, and ambidextrous controls.
Staccato has been serving California law enforcement for years and is thrilled to finally be able to provide the same premier shooting experience to its citizens.
“Building a California compliant gun has been on the board for a long time,” says Chief Marketing Officer Taylor Schweitzer. “American values, American freedom and the Second Amendment are near and dear to Staccato. The best way to truly stand behind those values is to ensure every American can purchase our guns. We are so excited to make this announcement. It’s long overdue.”
Designed with direct feedback from our professional end users, the Staccato HD line has been extensively tested for reliability, endurance, and harsh environment conditions both at the factory and by the highest tiers of Federal Law Enforcement.
California model P4s will ship with 10-round magazines, at an MSRP of $2499. You may purchase directly from www.staccato2011.com or through one of a growing network of California dealers.
