“With the exception of a few small errors, I shot very consistently throughout this match. I aimed to perform at about 80-85% of my maximum level, which helped me avoid costly mistakes. I achieved my accuracy goal of keeping points down to less than 10% of the required shots for the match, and I attribute much of my success to consistent use of the ZEROMAX live fire training system.
This is my second national championship title and my best placement so far in a national or world championship (CCP Division Champion, 4th overall among handgun shooters). I’ve considered switching divisions at times, but my Wilson Combat SFT-9 continues to outperform in a field of bigger guns and red dots. The Wilson Combat 135gr. 9mm ammo I use was as accurate, reliable, and soft-shooting as ever.” – Austin Proulx
“This past weekend, I competed in the IDPA Nationals at the CMP range in Talladega, Alabama. I won my twelfth CDP National Championship using my Wilson Combat CQB Elite in .45 ACP with ETM mags. I loaded 230-grain Montana Gold bullets with 5.2 grains of N320, which ran perfectly in my Wilson .45. A big thanks to Wilson Combat and all the IDPA staff for enduring the heat and humidity this past weekend.” – Glenn Shelby
“I am beyond grateful and honored to be the 2024 IDPA Nationals Carry Optics Division Champion. There were so many great shooters battling it out in the heat. Thank you to Wilson Combat, Pat Doyle, and Mike Seeklander for believing in me and supporting me all these years!” – Jeremy Story
