TenPoint’s Chuck Jordan Officially Inducted into The Archery Hall of Fame

TenPoint founding member Chuck Jordan was inducted into The Archery Hall of Fame. The unveiling of the official museum plaque was completed Saturday morning at The Archery Hall of Fame Museum inside the Springfield Bass Pro Shops, and the personal plaque was awarded that evening at the White River Convention Center.

Chuck was accompanied by several family members, TenPoint members, and long-time friends for this momentous occasion. Chuck is now the third TenPoint founding member to be inducted into the Archery Hall of Fame!

Chuck’s love for archery began in his teenage years – from shooting a straight-limb bow at just 11-years old to entering and placing in tournaments throughout the following years.

Eventually, Chuck began to focus most of his attention on working for TenPoint Crossbow Technologies – spending time educating people about crossbow myths and facts at consumer shows. He also worked tirelessly educating the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and members of the Michigan House and Senate on crossbow use. Through his hard work and dedication to help every hunter enjoy the sport of bowhunting, in 2010 most of the restrictions on crossbow hunting in Michigan were lifted and many states have followed suit since then.

“I’ve known Chuck for over 50 years, and he has been a huge asset to the archery industry and the archery community,” said Rick Bednar, TenPoint Executive Chairman. “From tournament archery to hunting camps, from bow designs to accessory designs, from recurve bows to crossbows, from trade shows to consumer shows; Chuck has interacted with thousands of people over the decades, and has always done it with sincerity, and a smile on his face. It is an honor to see him inducted into the Archery Hall of Fame, he deserves to be here! Congratulations Chuck!”

Since retiring from TenPoint, Chuck spends most of his time keeping his finger on the pulse of the archery industry by staying in touch with friends and also serves as a Director on the Archery Hall of Fame board. In his spare time Chuck works on his pride & joy – his Wicked Ridge farm, with his son Bobby and wife Judy.

As TenPoint Crossbows celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2024, the company continues to uphold its commitment to innovation, quality, and American craftsmanship, inspired by the vision of its founding members.
