Flux Defense Unveils the P365 Ultra-Light Chassis System: Introducing the VDW (Vehicle Defensive Weapon) – The Lightest, Most Concealable PDW Redefining Personal and Vehicle Defense

SLC, Utah—November 24, 2025—Flux Defense, a leader in innovative firearm accessories, today announced the launch of its groundbreaking P365 Ultra-Light Chassis System. This revolutionary system introduces a new class of weapon: the V.D.W. (Vehicle Defensive Weapon). Designed to fit in a glovebox, center console, or under the seat, its compact size allows for quick deployment and effective use inside a vehicle’s cabin. The P365 Ultra-Light transforms the popular Sig P365 platform into an exceptionally lightweight and high-performance Personal Defense Weapon (PDW), offering unparalleled speed, control, and modularity for tactical and recreational users alike. Adding even greater value and immediate usability, the system ships complete with Flux Defense’s new 2.0 adjustable IWB/OWB holster.

The Flux Defense P365 Ultra-Light Chassis System is engineered to be a standalone component, utilizing existing P365 firearms, slides, barrels, and magazines (not included). This system delivers double the rounds of a standard pistol, increased accuracy, control, and velocity, all within a package that is 3 inches shorter and 85 percent lighter than an MP5K. Weighing in at a mere 8.7 ounces, it’s an ideal choice for enhanced maneuverability and reduced fatigue.

Key Performance Features and Specifications Include:

Patented Speedload System: Facilitates faster reloads than traditional pistols or other PDWs, ensuring operators maintain an advantage.

Enhanced Capacity: Supports up to 50 rounds on the gun with optional magazine extensions, providing extended engagement capability.

Superior Control: A built-in shroud ensures a secure C-clamp grip and promotes flatter shooting, significantly improving accuracy and follow-up shots.

Lightweight, Durable Construction: Crafted from military-grade glass-filled nylon and S7 steel, featuring a Type 3 hard anodized shroud for exceptional resilience without added bulk.

Optimal Velocity Option: Features an optional 6-inch barrel to increase velocity, surpassing the performance of an MP5K.

Included 2.0 Adjustable Holster: Ships with the new 2.0 holster, designed for ultimate flexibility. It can be hard-mounted in the vehicle for quick access or carried with you, supporting both inside (IWB) and outside the waistband (OWB) configurations.

Compact & Extendable Design:

Collapsed: 9.75″ L x 4″ W x 1.375″ H

Extended: 18.5″ L x 4″ W x 1.25″ H

Ergonomic Length of Pull: 13.5″ for comfortable and stable handling.

“We are incredibly excited to introduce the P365 Ultra-Light Chassis System and define a new category with our VDW – Vehicle Defensive Weapon,” said Cory David, CEO at Flux Defense. “Our focus was on creating a system that is not only extraordinarily light and concealable but also significantly enhances performance, speed, and user control. This system is small enough to deploy and shoot inside the cabin, fitting perfectly in a glovebox or center console. By including our new 2.0 adjustable holster that can be hard-mounted in a vehicle or carried, we’re ensuring users have an immediate, versatile solution right out of the box. The road is dangerous. Protect your ride. This chassis empowers users to push the boundaries of their P365’s capabilities, making it an even more formidable tool.”

Important Compatibility Notes: The P365 Ultra-Light Chassis is designed for use with specific P365 slides, including P365XL, TACOPS, and P365 FUSE. It is not compatible with short (standard) P365 slides or 12-15 round magazines, working optimally with 17-21 round P365 magazines.

The Flux Defense P365 Ultra-Light Chassis System is now available for purchase through authorized dealers and online at fluxdefense.com.
