The Return of the Colt BOA in Collaboration with CNC Firearms

Custom & Collectable Firearms (CNC Firearms) is exhibiting at the 2026 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Houston, presenting a selection of newly crafted, limited edition firearms, led by the highly anticipated return of one of the most iconic and sought-after revolvers in modern history.

At the center of this year’s showcase is the official unveiling of the Custom & Collectable Firearms x Colt’s Manufacturing Company BOA Collaboration.

The Colt BOA returns as an enduring symbol of rarity and heritage, representing one of the most distinctive expressions of Colt’s modern legacy. Originally introduced in 1985 as a limited run, it remains among the most coveted revolvers in Colt history, defined by its scarcity and lasting significance. Revered by serious collectors, the BOA stands as an iconic chapter in the Colt story.

Production remains true to the original 1985 offering, with each revolver manufactured as a 100% factory Colt firearm. Available in 4.25-inch and 6-inch barrel lengths. Each revolver features Santos rosewood grips with a gold Colt pony medallion, a brass bead front sight, and a blued finish chambered in .357 Magnum. Every piece ships in a special edition custom Colt box, designed exclusively to commemorate the BOA release.

As passionate collectors, CNC Firearms recognized the importance of preserving this legacy. For the last three years, CNC Firearms has worked closely with Colt to faithfully bring this historic firearm back to life. The project will not be mass-produced, reinforcing its exclusivity and long-term collectability, and marking what is expected to be one of the most important Colt releases in many years. This product is exclusively distributed and managed by CNC Firearms. While the return of the BOA stands as the defining moment of this year’s presentation, CNC Firearms continues to push the boundaries of craftsmanship with additional limited releases, exclusive series, and fully customized offerings that elevate engraving, finishing, and overall artistry while blending performance with collectability.

Beyond innovation, CNC Firearms remains deeply committed to giving back. Through its ongoing partnership with Folds of Honor on the Kimber 1911 “Folds of Honor” .45 ACP design, the company continues to support the families of fallen and disabled service members. All net proceeds from this special project are donated directly to the organization, helping fund educational scholarships for military families. This initiative is proudly endorsed by country music artist John Rich, a dedicated advocate for the foundation and its mission.

Visitors attending the 2026 NRA Convention in Houston are encouraged to experience the return of the BOA and these exclusive offerings firsthand and connect with the team behind the brand.
